The Feddersen group
In 1949 Karl Detlef Feddersen founded a Hamburg-based trading company specialising in chemical products. With the acquisition of Norddeutsche Ueberseegesellschaft in 1952 the portfolio was completed by technical products. By the middle of the 1950s, K.D. Feddersen started distributing plastics –our main business segment to date.
Today K.D. Feddersen specialises in the worldwide distribution of chemicals, engineering plastics and technical products. With subsidiaries and companies in Central Europe, Central Eastern Europe, Nordic countries and East and Southeast Asia our truly global network gives us direct access to different overseas markets and regions. Our competencies involve local distribution, warehousing and customer service. The extensive product range ex stock is always available and therefore enables minimal lead times..
